She was suppose to preform this song at Church the Saturday before Easter but was too sick to do so. I got her singing the last part of the song last night and thought I would share. She even does some of the hand gestures!

Easter Egg Hunt at Ebenezer Church

John really liked this picture not sure how my camera did that but Kayla was not in a happy mood because she wasn't feeling well on Saturday.

We signed up at our church for breakfast, crafts, games and an Easter egg hunt. The day of the church activities Kayla was not feeling well. We told her we could stay home but she insisted on going. Looking back I am glad she did because even though she had a rough start she really enjoyed herself! Also, she missed her Easter egg hunt through Stafford Parks and Rec because she ended up getting worse :( So at least she made it to one hunt! This picture is during breakfast, of which she had none!

Playing pin the egg on the basket. I was so impressed with Kayla because normally she doesn't want to be blind-folded and with her not feeling well I expected a tantrum but instead she watched the bigger kids doing it and so she stepped right up!

It was a long busy day with Grammie, GrandDad and Buddy coming to visit too! They both needed a nap! So I still don't know how to get my text under the appropriate video so I will just describe them all. The first is Kayla strategically choosing her eggs, she is too cute! The second is her playing pin the egg on the basket. The last is her doing the egg walk.

Guinea Pigs Everywhere!!

Our newest family member Linny. One of Kayla's birthday presents! So after getting Linny I decided he needed a friend but didn't want to carry two guinea pigs across the country when we move to CA so I decided to volunteer with MGPR (Metropolitian Guinea Pig Rescue-yes a rescue does exist just for guinea pigs) in hopes of fostering a friend for Linny. In just one month here are a few that we have cared for... This is Cherry, my first foster who just got adopted this past Sunday! This is Trinity-I got to name her and her sister's because I picked them up from the Alexandria Animal Shelter. This is Tiger and Able (Able was actually disabled and so I tried to give her a positive name :) these are Trinity's sisters, the oldest and youngest. I have then had Mocha not pictured yet who just left me to get spayed and currently am fostering Juno, also not pictured but will be shortly! Kayla loves having so many guinea pigs around, and so does John (not!)
