Another First

She is riding in the stroller without the car seat being attached and she's no longer facing me!  I swear its all happening so fast.  I can't believe how many things she can do now when not so long ago all she could do was eat, sleep and poop! She amazes me every day more and more!

Its been nice visiting my family and they all adore Kayla.  Buddy has a very unusual relationship with her.  Its kind of a love/hate relationship.  Sometimes he acts like he really likes her and finds her interesting.  He allows her to pet him and cuddles with us in bed.  But then he gets jealous when my mom pays her any attention and he is constantly trying to steal her toys.  Hopefully we can work on this and make it only a loving relationship because he is an old dog and set in his ways but I would really like him to accept her as part of his pack.

Sorry I have been slacking on Kayla's space.  I have been super busy preparing for my trip home and traveling all around MD now that I am here.  Not to mention going to Louisa's wedding.  I'm back at my computer and ready to update everyone!

John- Please don't worry hon, Ranger is VERY protective of Kayla as you can see.  We are safe with him.  He really does love her so much.  I had to ask him to back off a little though thats why the last picture he is not laying as closely, he actually rolled over on her!!  He's such an oaf!  We miss you and love you.  Hope you like these pics, they are from the new camera!

Today was crazy busy.  I woke up at 6am had to leave the house by 7:40 and drop Kayla off at a family care providers house at 8:00.  Then I had a Family Readiness Assistant class to attend from 8:30-3:30  Then back to pick up Kayla, who did amazing Johanna said.  She played and slept for two hours and ate but didn't cry and wasn't fussy! As soon as I put her in the car she was out before we even got back on base.  We came home and I had to change Kayla into the outfit she is wearing in the picture in the post below for Daddy.  At 4:15 we met with the photographer.  Home for dinner.  6:30 had to go to Wal*Mart to pick up some things John asked for.  Home at 8:30 then put the m&m's on John's cookie/cake. 9:00 go to Liz's to food save the cookie/cake.  Then I had to put Kayla to bed and get John's package ready to go to the post office tomorrow.  I made him a few videos including this one because he is unable to view them on this site, had to copy them to a cd.  Then I uploaded onto here and I am finishing up this and its 11:50pm!!! I need sleeeeep!!!  

One Day Shy of 3 months

The photographer on base will take a picture like this for free every few months while your husband is deployed.  (I thought every month, but hey no complaints here its still nice to get a free picture!)  I thought about not putting this up because I am sending John a copy for his birthday but he probably will not get to view this blog for a while anyway.  So here it is!  And John, if you do see it before you get it, just act surprised!!
